Parents Meeting Report

Parents meeting of second semester UG WAS students were conducted on 4^th July 2023 and 13^th July 2023 at Saint Chavara Hall.  The main agenda of the meeting was evaluation of internal examination and importance of internal assessment, review of add-on-courses, general discipline in the college and seek feedback and suggestions from parents.  Majority of parents attended the meeting.  College Director Rev.Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI, in his introductory speech, said that the excessive use of mobile phones among students and parents should pay due attention to control its use. He also spoke about the importance of regular attendance in classes and bringing note books, textbook etc. In order to improve the learning standards of the students. Dr. Joshi C. O., Head of the Institution, said that the second semester internal and retest examinations were conducted on time and published results. He stressed the need for concentrating the students on internal assessment.  He also asked the parents to give attention to whether their children submit assessment and seminar on time.   He mentioned that the add-on courses are running very well and parents should check and ensure regular attendance of their child.  He informed that the Management has sanctioned an amount towards the registration fee for the students registering for the CAT exam. Mr. Salim K. K., PTA President,  extended his greeting and whole hearted support. Many positive suggestions were received from the parents.  PTA Joint Secretary Divya Krishnan, Faculty of PG Department of English gave vote of thanks.  PTA Secretary Sajitha K. N., Faculty of Department of Management Studies co-ordinated the activities related to the conduct of meetings on the aforesaid dates.
