TEACHER’S DAY 2024

On 5th September, 2024, St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College organised Teachers’ Day celebrations as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a staunch believer of education and a well-known diplomat, visionary, statesman, scholar, President of India and above all the perfect teachers.

The function took place in the Saint Chavara hall of the college. The program started with a welcome speech by Ms. Shereena Johny. This was followed by a speech by the Manager. Rev. Fr. Joseph Alappat CMI who spoke about the significance of Teachers Day. Dr. P. T. Jose, Administrator, also spoke on the occasion. A cake was cut by the management team as a part of teacher’s day celebration. Teachers exchanged flowers as a token of gratitude.
