ONE DAY WORKSHOP
NAAC Accreditation Process for Quality Enhancement in Higher Education Institutions
A one-day workshop on ‘NAAC Accreditation Process for Quality Enhancement in Higher Education Institutions’ was conducted for the staff of St Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty on 2nd July 2022. The workshop was organized by the IQAC Cell of the college. Resource person for the day was Ms. Julie Dominic A., Head of the Department of English, Little Flower College, Guruvayoor. The chief guest of the inaugural session was the resource person. Principal of the college, Dr. Joshi C. O., presided over the function. Mrs. Liji John, IQAC Co-ordinator rendered the welcome address. Vice Principal, Mrs. Shereena Johny delivered the vote of thanks.
The workshop commenced at 10.30am, extended up to 3.30pm and had three technical sessions each with sufficient time for discussion. The resource person, Ms. Julie Dominic spoke about the seven criteria, subsections under each, the metrices involved and the documentation procedures as described in the revised guidelines for accreditation. The one-day workshop was both enlightening and fruitful. Concluding remark was done by Sri. Ranji Joseph C., Co-ordinator of UG and PG programmes in the college.
