Anti Drug Day Observation 2022

The UN General Assembly, through a resolution on 7 th December 1987, took a decision to observe 26 th June as anti-drug day every year, to strengthen action and co-operation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. St. Joseph’s Arts and Science college observed anti-drug day on Monday 27th of June. Students and staff actively participated in various activities on the day which included painting competition and presentation of flash mob by the students. The idea was to sensitize the students to the ill effects of drugs in line with the very purpose of anti-drug day observation. Mr. Renjith A. K. (Programme Convenor) co-ordinated the activities. Rev. Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI (Director) and Dr. Joshi C.O. (Principal) spoke on the occasion.
