MERIT DAY 2025

St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty, celebrated its Merit Day on February 27, 2025, a grand occasion to honor excellence in academics, arts, and sports. Rev. Fr. Joseph Alappat CMI, presented trophies to the winning groups and individual champions, recognizing their outstanding achievements in D-zone and Interzone competitions.

Keerthana V.R., a brilliant M.A. English student, was felicitated for her remarkable win in the poem writing competition, securing first prize in Interzone and second prize in D-zone. Muhsin K.M. was also congratulated for his impressive third-place finish in the photography competition at the D-zone level.

The football champions were lauded for their triumph, while the Sarod team was honored as the overall winners in Arts and Sports, receiving a trophy to commemorate their achievement. The Shehnai team, which secured the first runner-up position, was also congratulated for their exceptional performance.

Certificates were presented to individual winners and group champions in Arts and Sports, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Administrator Dr. P. T. Jose Sir, Principal Ms. Shereena Johny, Fine Arts convener Ranjith Sir, and Chairperson Arun Sir, who joined Rev. Fr. Joseph Alappat CMI on stage to congratulate the winners and celebrate the spirit of excellence.
