The Keraleeyam program, held in commemoration of Kerala Piravi on November 1st at St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty served as a vibrant platform to honor and celebrate Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The event was highlighted by a captivating Thullal performance presented by the esteemed Thullal Acharyan Shri. Manalur Gopinath who is also a retired Sub Inspector of Kerala Police. His mesmerizing presentation not only showcased the cultural prowess but also underscored the unwavering dedication of the art and literary community present at the event.

The event commenced with a solemn prayer, followed by an eminent performance by Dance club.

The Director Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI extended a warm welcome, outlining the significance of the occasion and expressing gratitude for everyone present.

The principal Dr. Joshi C. O. delivered a presidential address, emphasizing the cultural richness and importance of events like Keraleeyam in fostering artistic appreciation among the audience.

Sri. Manalur Gopinathan, recipient of Sangeetha and Nadaka Academy Award, graced the event. He presented his 101st stage performance, titled “Pakarnattam,” highlighting the essence and cultural significance of the traditional art form of Thullal.  Sri. Manalur Gopinathan aimed to promote the importance of Thullal, seeking to preserve and propagate this art form. His performance, “Pakarnattam,” served as a captivating testament to the heritage of Kerala’s artistic traditions.

Main attraction of the day was the food fest conducted by each class.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Sri. Renjith A. K. Co-ordinator of the Arts and Literary Club who expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers and attendees. He highlighted the collaborative efforts that made Keraleeyam a grand success.
