Keralapiravi Celebration
Keraleeyam 2022
November 1 is a reminder of the merging of Malayalam speaking regions and the formation of Kerala. To commemorate the occasion, St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty organized a day-long celebration. Morning session of the same saw a food fest that celebrated the regional and traditional tastes of Kerala. Students prepared iconic dishes of Kerala and set up a food exhibition as part of class-wise competition. The inaugural session of Keraleeyam 2022 was blessed by the presence of Sri. Radhkrishnan Kakkkaserry Master – veteran writer, critic and teacher. Students enthusiastically listened to his words and imbibed the message conveyed by him. Malayali Manka and Mannan competition was held to honour the ethnicity of Kerala. With ardent spirit students participated in the competition. The Keralapiravi celebrations concluded with a dance performed by the students.
