St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty, successfully hosted a comprehensive Job fair on 15 February 2025, in collaboration with Lakshya Jobs and Skill Centre, Pavaratty, and IRS. This pivotal event catered to the career aspirations of final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, offering a platform to explore opportunities with esteemed organizations.

The job fair featured an impressive line-up of 22 prominent companies, including Axis Bank, CSB Bank, Popular Hyundai, Johns Honda, Microtech, CFCICI, Jio, Manappuram, and Aditya Birla. These industry leaders offered a diverse range of positions in software development, accounting, administration, billing, testing, digital marketing, teaching, and tele calling.

In preparation for the event, an overwhelming 491 students registered their attended interest through Google Forms. On the day of the job fair, 142 students attended, eager to seize the opportunities presented.

The placement drive was meticulously organized by a team of dedicated placement coordinators, comprising Ms. Minimole M. J. (Placement officer & Assistant Professor, Management), Ms. Diviya K. Krishnan (Placement executive & Assistant Professor, English), and Ms. Preethy N. P. (Placement executive & Assistant Professor, Commerce). To ensure the smooth execution of the event, 15 students coordinators were selected and trained to assist with the logistics and facilitation of the job fair.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Manager & Director Rev. Fr. Joseph Alappat CMI, Administrator Dr. P. T. Jose, and Principal Ms. Shereena Johny for their unwavering support and guidance, which significantly contributed to the event’s success. Their leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping the careers of our students.

This job fair provided our student volunteers with an invaluable opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the placement process, interact with industry professionals, and explore career avenues. We appreciate the guidance and assistance received from all stakeholders, including the participating companies, student volunteers, and college staff, in making this event a resounding success.
