Entrée 2.3

The Fresher’s Day celebrations at St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty were a resounding success, achieving the goal of welcoming new students and integrating them into the college community. It was held on 3rd October 2023 which was attended by both new students and existing members of the college community, including faculty and other staff. The title for this year’s event was “Entrée 2.3”.

Program Coordinator Ranjith A. K. welcomed everyone.

Principal, Dr. Joshi. C. O. delivered a motivating presidential address. The Principal emphasized the values of dedication, discipline and the pursuit of knowledge. The address was a source of inspiration for both the new students and the existing members of the institution.

The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Director, Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI who officially welcomed the incoming students. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of academic excellence, holistic development and the unique opportunities that our institution offers. His inspirational words set a positive tone for the event.

Vice Principal, Mrs. Shareena Johnny then took the stage to felicitate the new students. In her felicitation speech, she highlighted the warm and inclusive environment of the institution and encouraged the freshers to actively engage in various academic and extracurricular activities

PG and UG coordinator Ranji Joseph also felicitated the function.

The formal event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Arts club secretary Clement K. Laughson who expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the event’s success, including the organizing committee, faculty members and the students who participated. A variety of cultural performances were staged, including Songs, dances and mono act  by students. There were 24 variety of performances by students which added color and vibrancy to the events. New students also showcased their unique skills and talents, which was met with enthusiastic applause and encouragement from the audience. The event fostered a sense of belonging and excitement among the freshers and it set a positive tone for their college journey.
