We are with “Her”, because there is no planet B : “Only One Earth”
The World environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness in order to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities, all through the year. St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, celebrated world environment day on Monday, 6th June 2022. The Executive director of Green Habitat, Thrissur District Co-ordinator of Dhesiya Haritha Sena and Vanamithra award winner, Shri. James N.J., inaugurated the function.
Director of the college, Rev. Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI, the chief guest N. J. James Master, Principal, Dr. C. O. Joshi, Vice principal, Mrs. Shereena Johny, Heads of various Departments, College superintendent, Shri. Mohanan M. S. and student representatives planted saplings in the campus to spread the message of environment day celebration. The event was conducted successfully with the wholehearted participation of staff and students.
