Talk on Menstrual hygiene
Menstrual hygiene is a critical aspect of woman’s health and well-being. On June 30th 2023 a talk was organised by Women Development Cell at St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty. The resource person for the day was Ms. Anusha K. V., Junior Public Health nurse PHC Pavaratty. The talk helped in creating an awareness on the proper menstrual hygiene practices that are essential to lead a healthy and productive life without being hindered by the challenges associated with menstruation. That talk also provided an overview of menstrual hygiene, Its significant, challenges and the importance of promoting awareness and access to menstrual hygiene products. The activities of the day were co-ordinated by Mrs. Anjaly P., convener of WDC of the college.
