SEMINAR ON ‘RESEARCH METHODOLOGY’

                     Department of Management Studies, St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College Pavaratty organized a seminar on “Research Methodology” on 29-09-2025. The objective of the seminar was to provide awareness on how to conduct research and understanding of the fundamental concepts, tools and techniques involved in conducting systematic and effective research. The program was conducted for the final year students of Management studies (53 students) and P.G students of Commerce (13 students). Program was organized in the Studio room from 9.45 am to 11.30 a.m. Program started by the welcome note of Ms. Suvarna S. Nair, final year BBA student. The session was handled by Dr. Eldhose K.V., Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce & Management Studies, Sri. C. Achutha Menon Government College, Thrissur.

In the session, the resource person explained about the various stages of research, including problem identification, hypothesis formulation, choose population, random sampling, data collection, analysis, interpretation, findings & suggestions. He also emphasized the role of proper documentation and referencing. The seminar included an interactive session, where attendees actively participated by asking questions and cleared their doubts. The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Pavithra T. P. final year BBA student, who expressed gratitude to the speaker, Management, Administrator, Principal, faculties of department of management studies and students who were participated for making the event successful. Overall the seminar was highly informative and enriched the participant’s knowledge of research design, methodology and data interpretation.
