PTA REPRESENTATIVES FORUM MEETING

Meeting of PTA Representatives Forum was conducted on 16^th June, 2023(Friday) at Saint Chavara Hall. The main agenda of the meeting was sent-off to outgoing PTA President and Vice-president, Election of new office bearers and to seek feedback and suggestions from members. Majority of members attended the meeting. Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI, Director, expressed his gratitude to the parents for their involvement and co-operation in the college activities last year.  He shared his happiness that the 2020-23 batch students have achieved good results in the University examinations. He asked the parents to remind the children about the importance of focusing on their studies and motivate them for it. He also said that everyone has paid the semester fee correctly.  Dr. Joshi C. O., Principal, talked on various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities conducted in the college last year. He expressed his happiness over the good performance of the students in University examinations. He spoke about the importance of value added certificate courses conducted in the college.  He specially thanked the Director for taking the initiative to provide financial assistance for economically backward students. He thanked the outgoing PTA President and Vice-president for all their services so far.  Mr.  Ranji Joseph, UG & PG programmes Co-ordinator, conveyed his greeting to PTA President and Vice-president. Principal Dr. Joshi C. O. and Vice- principal Mrs. Shereena Johny presented mementos to Mr. Ali P. V. (PTA President) and Mrs. Shaheena Mansoor (PTA Vice-president) respectively. Mr. Ali P. V. expressed his gratitude in his reply. Mr. K. K. Salim, Parent of Moinudheen K. S. (S2 B.Com Finance) and Mrs. Saritha K. S., Parent of Swathi M. P. (S5 B.Com Co-operation) were elected as the new PTA President and Vice-president respectively for 2023-24.        Mrs. Divya K. Krishnan, Faculty of PG Department of English, was elected as PTA Joint Secretary.  All other office bearers were re-elected to the committe. Many positive suggestions were received from the committee members.  Mrs. Jasmin E. V., Faculty of PG Department of Commerce, gave vote of thanks.  PTA Secretary Sajitha K. N., Faculty of Department of Management Studies, co-ordinated the activities related to the conduct of meeting.
