PTA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE REPORT

P T A executive committee meeting was held on 22nd December, 2022 (Thursday) at Saint Chavara Hall. The main agenda of the meeting was evaluation of University results, review of the activities conducted in the college during the year 2022-23, and review value added certificate courses.  Most of the committee members attended the meeting.  Director, Rev.Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI, talked about the various activities conducted in the college and the importance of class room attendance of the students. He also talked about the need for students to be disciplined in the college and for that efforts from the parents. He expressed his happiness on the high success in university examinations. Head of the institution, Dr. Joshi C. O., talked on various curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities conducted in the college.  He stressed the need for concentrating the student on internal assessment.  He expressed his happiness over the excellent performance of the students in university examinations and appreciated the students and teachers who worked hard to achieve it.  He also mentioned the remedial coaching for the slow learners to improve marks and grades of the students. Principal talked on the introduction of value added certification programmes for the Ist year students and expressed satisfaction over more than 90% student enrollment for the same. PTA President, Mr. Ali P. V. extended whole-hearted co-operation from the parents to improve the examination results of the students and to enforce discipline in the college. Many positive suggestions were received from the committee members. Mr.Renji Joseph, Co-ordinator of UG & PG programmes, extended his greeting.  PTA joint secretary Jasmine E. V., Faculty of PG Department of Commerce, gave vote of thanks.  PTA secretary Sajitha K. N., Faculty of Department of Management, co-ordinated the entire activities related to the meeting.
