Parents Meeting of Fourth Semester UG Students

Meetings of parents of fourth semester degree students were conducted on 29^th and 30^th March, 2023 at Saint Chavara Hall.  The main agenda of the meeting was evaluation of model and S4 internal examinations, university result evaluation of S1 UG, review of add-on courses, general discipline in the college and to seek feedback and suggestions from parents. Majority of parents attended the meeting. College Director Rev.Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI, Principal Dr. Joshi C. O. and UG & PG programme Co-ordinator Sri. Ranji Joseph addressed the meeting. Our Director Rev. Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI mentioned that students are losing interest in studies after covid. So teachers and parents should stand together and motivate them to focus more on studies. He also said that in order to improve the university examination results of the students, it has been decided to conduct the model examination before the university examination of every semester. Head of the Institution, Dr. Joshi C. O. said that the internal examinations were conducted on time and results were published accurately. He mentioned that the add-on courses are running very well and parents should check and ensure regular attendance of their child. He appealed for attention and vigilance on the part of the parents to improve the standard of education of students. Along with this, full co-operation was also requested to enforce discipline in the college. All parents actively participated in the meeting.  They gave lots of positive suggestions and feedback. PTA Joint Secretary Jasmin E. V., Faculty of PG Department of Commerce, gave vote of thanks. PTA Secretary Sajitha K. N., Faculty of Department of Management Studies co-ordinated the activities related to the conduct of meetings on the aforesaid dates.
