MELAM 2023

Onam, the regional festival was celebrated with a spectrum of colourful cultural events. The festivities and celebrations were set in motion with the Mega Thiruvathira. Nearly 100 students participated in the event and the performance of our gorgeous girls, attired in traditional setmundu dancing around, was truly a memorizing sight. This was followed by the phenomenal Shinkari Melam performance by Harisri Kalavedi Troup. The Symphony of musical instruments and our students enjoying every beat of it was an invigorating experience. Athapookalam Competitions were conducted and our students organized a lavish Onam Sadhya and both students and teachers together with the non-teaching staff enjoyed the delectable dishes. Tug of war- the inevitable part of Onam, which added a unique touch of togetherness, saw the culmination of this year’s fantastic festivities.
