INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO COCHIN PORT AND WAREHOUSE BY BBA STUDENTS

Department of Management organised one day industrial visit to Cochin port and warehouse on 15.12.25. The objective of the industrial visit was to learn about the cargo shipping and delivery process, giving students a practical insight into logistics and supply chain management.
Students observed cargo handling operations at Cochin Port, understanding procedures for import and export.
Warehouse operations, including storage, inventory management, and security measures, were explained by officials. Students interacted with logistics managers, gaining insights into challenges and best practices in cargo shipping.
The visit enhanced students’ understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, complementing their BBA curriculum. Students appreciated the practical exposure.
