INAUGURATION OF ENGLISH ASSOCIATION 2025-26 & LITTalk SCHOLARLY TALK SERIES PART- 6

St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty, witnessed a spectacular inauguration of the English Association and Littalks series 6. The formal function kicked off with a soulful prayer by Ms. Sreya P. S., setting the tone for a day of literary magic.

Ms. Smitha Samuel, Head of the English Department, extended a warm welcome to all, followed by the presidential address by Dr. P. T. Jose, Administrator, who inspired the gathering with his insightful words.

The spotlight then shifted to Mr. Adidev Manoj, a talented student, who introduced the esteemed speaker, Dr. Devi Raj V., Assistant Professor of PG Department of English, Sree Vivekananda College, Kunnamkulam. She mesmerized the audience with her inaugural address, leaving everyone spellbound.

Ms. Hafiya, Association Secretary, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, wrapping up the formal proceedings.

The Littalks series took center stage next, with Dr. Devi Raj exploring the captivating theme of “Shifting Paths: Rediscovering the Narratives of Cinema”. The audience was enthralled, and the enthusiasm was palpable. Students then unleashed their creativity with engaging cultural activities.
