CONVOCATION 2024
St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College celebrated its 2024 convocation ceremony on October 5th at 10:00 AM. The event began with a colorful and vibrant procession featuring graduating and post-graduating students, faculty, and honored guests.
A solemn prayer set a reverent tone for the occasion, followed by a warm welcome address by Principal Mrs. Shereena Johny. She addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the day as a momentous occasion for graduates and their families.
The Manager, Fr. Joseph Alappat CMI, delivered an insightful presidential address, highlighting the values of perseverance, determination, and the transformative power of education. The ceremony reached its pinnacle with the presence of the distinguished Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Davi Kavungal CMI (Vicar Provincial). He inspired the graduates with his address, emphasizing the importance of applying knowledge to real-world challenges.
The heart of the ceremony was the degree conferment, a spectacle symbolizing dedication and hard work. Graduates proudly donned their academic attire, receiving degrees as a testament to their commitment, knowledge, and passion.
The benedictory speech by Former Director, Fr. Jijo Theethai CMI offered blessings and well wishes for the graduating class, while our former principal, Dr. Joshi C.O., honored the academic achievers.
Dr. P.T. Jose (administrator), Mr. Salim K. K. (PTA president), and Mr. Sanjay P. S. (College Union Chairman) extended their felicitations to the graduates.
The student representative, Ms. Lisha P. L., expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the entire graduating class, acknowledging the unwavering support and guidance provided by the faculty, staff, and the institution throughout their academic journey.
Vice Principal Mr. Renji Joseph C. delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to all who contributed to the ceremony’s success. The program concluded with a resounding rendition of the national anthem, signifying unity and love for the nation.
