BASHEER DAY

St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty, paid tribute to the literary legend Vaikkom Muhammed Basheer by celebrating Basheer Day, marking his death anniversary. The college organized two captivating programs that sparked creativity and enthusiasm among students. A quiz competition witnessed tremendous participation, showcasing students’ knowledge and passion for Basheer’s works. The caricature competition, themed ‘Basheer and his characters,’ brought out the artistic talents of students, who enthusiastically portrayed the author’s iconic characters with flair and imagination.
