Arohan- Introduction of New Management Team

Arohan, meaning progress or ascent, was the title chosen for the College Opening Ceremony of St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty, held on 1 June 2026. The programme marked a significant beginning for the academic year and served as an occasion to introduce the new management team to the college community.

The ceremony commenced with a prayer, invoking divine blessings for the institution and its stakeholders. The gathering was warmly welcomed by the Head of the Malayalam Department Mr. Renjith A K, who extended a heartfelt welcome to the newly appointed authorities and all those present.

The Presidential Address was delivered by the new Manager, Rev. Fr. Sebi Palamattathil CMI, who shared his vision and aspirations for the growth and development of the institution. The Benedictory Address was given by the new Director, Rev. Fr. Jithin Jose Kalan CMI, who offered his blessings and words of encouragement to the college community.

The Principal’s Message was delivered by the new Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Biju John M., who highlighted the importance of academic excellence, discipline, and collective effort in achieving the institution’s goals. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Vice Principal Shereena Johny, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and all those who contributed to the success of the event.

The formal function was followed by a vibrant array of cultural performances presented by students and faculty members, adding colour and enthusiasm to the occasion. The programme successfully ushered in a new phase of leadership and progress for St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College, Pavaratty, truly reflecting the spirit of Arohan.
