COMMERCE ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION 2025-26

The Commerce Association for the academic year 2025–26 was inaugurated on 30 January 2026 at the Central Auditorium of St. Joseph’s Arts and Science College. The programme commenced at 1:30 p.m. with a prayer, followed by the welcome address delivered by Ms. Liji John, Head of the PG Department of Commerce.

The inauguration was formally conducted by the Chief Guest, Mr. Rakhil Murali, Vice-Chairman of Pattambi Investments and Loans and MC Metro Group. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of investment awareness and encouraged students to cultivate sound investment habits from an early stage.

The function was presided over by the Administrator, Dr. P. T. Jose. In his presidential address, he motivated students to actively participate in the Association’s activities. The Principal-in-charge, Ms. Shereena Johny, delivered the Principal’s address and inspired students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the Association for their academic and personal growth.

The felicitation address was delivered by Mr. Akshay V. S., College Union Chairman, who extended his best wishes for the successful functioning of the Association throughout the academic year.

The event was further enlivened by various cultural programmes organized by the students, adding colour and enthusiasm to the occasion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Anannya K. U., Commerce Association Secretary.
